I've been sitting in my room all day wondering if we'll really be able to pull off a second first rain. it's 7:33pm and they've got the drummers going out in the quad, but it seemed as soon as the drumming started, the rain stopped. maybe they need a different rhythm to make the magic happen. it seems so cold tonight, I almost don't feel like running in the cold.
'note' first rain is a tradition at santa cruz were when the first rain comes of the school year, people rip off their clothes and run in the rain. The one that happened tuesday night was wrong (not a big enough crowd, all the upper classmen were off campus sleeping, it was too late, people got lost, no music, no party).
